Picked mine up a week ago Friday. Finally got to go fishing on Saturday. Even though I lost 6 inches of bed length over the F-150, it still worked great! Got it dirty going down miles of muddy dirt roads to get to one of our Gulf launch points. No issues at all! Loved the gas mileage as opposed to the 2004 F-150 I got out of. :) Have a dual jet ski trailer that I haul both kayaks on when I need to carry both.

Got mine !!!!

Woke up Monday and said time to pull the trigger. Traded my 2011 Ford F-150 Ecobeast Supercrew and my 2015 Mustang GT Premium for a Supercrew Lariat. Going to miss both but super impressed with the Ranger so far.

Bought mine 160 miles from Myrtle Beach. The dealer had the EXACT model/options /color I wanted. Thankfully I did not have to order.

Purchased Lariat Wednesday evening. I had been searching through dealers inventory looking for the the model with all the options I wanted.
That's the way I did it. Built my truck then went hunting, Found it 160 miles away. Put a CC down to hold it. Picked it up last Monday

Picked up a silver Lariat with 501a and tow today. Found two local dealers who had trucks I liked and negotiated between them to bring down the price. I bought from Ted Britt but Koons had better initial pricing and slightly better pricing at the end but i liked the Ted Britt truck a bit better (ebony leather instead of stone).

Cool setup. Can you tell me more about the hitch you got on there in the picture. I often think about getting a kayak and wanted to explore different options for towing it around

It's a T-Bone bed extender...about $175-200. I'll be making something similar.

That's a Boonedox bed extender. Runs around $180. Not cheap, but it's aluminum and won't rust. Lightweight and easy to handle. I don't take it off when I park at the launch areas where we kayak fish in the Gulf. I have a hitch lock at the receiver and a pin lock halfway up the extender where it's normally adjustable (length wise with a factory pin). I do have 2 kayaks, so when I need to carry both of them I use the trailer.
