It seems that a lot of Ranger owners are having this issue. I did manage to find a solution, if wallet-slapping could be called that...But anyway, check out this thread about how it was dealt with.

What do you know. Yesterday before leaving work, I get a message "Scheduled start failed because your vehicle's inactivity has put it in Deep Sleep Mode in order to conserve battery power". That inactivity was it being parked for 8 hours. No problems with ASS and scheduled starts this morning, so probably a glitch in the app or update since other have experienced it on the same day.

I will preface to say we did have pretty cold temps the night before mine showed deep sleep on the FordPass app in the morning, so maybe it was one of the "tradional deep sleep conditions" they list:
  • Vehicle inactivity for 14 consecutive days
  • The battery voltage drops below 9.5 volts
  • Extremely cold/hot weather conditions

I just did a Google asking, "Why does my Ford Ranger go into Deep Sleep?". This came up:

Why does the FordPass®*App say my vehicle is in Deep Sleep Mode when it isn't?
We are aware that some Members might see a banner message in the app advising your vehicle is in Deep Sleep Mode when using the FordPass App, even though it does not meet traditional deep sleep conditions. Your remote commands are inoperable when this happens.
Performing a key cycle (turning the vehicle on and then back off again) will restore the functionality of the remote commands; however, the symptom may recur when attempting to use them again.
Our engineering team is working on a fix for this issue that will be released via a future Software Update.
Please make sure you have the latest version of the FordPass App and where applicable, you have Software Updates enabled so that you get notified when the fix is available.
Note: Software Updates are enabled in your vehicle by default. Click here for more information on changing automatic update settings.

I have a ‘22 tremor and over the last week I have received 4 notifications that my truck is in deep sleep mode. I drive my truck 200-300 miles a week and it doesn’t sit for more than a day without driving. Is anyone having similar issues? It almost seems like an app issue vs my trucks battery draining.

I'll merge this with a recent thread so you can look through that one.
