De-badging

My truck is Sport package so almost all trim is black or magnetic. The Ecoboost emblem on the tailgate is chrome and sticks out to me. I found this on Fleabay and like the look better so I will replace mine.

Not those stickers, but the first thing I do is remove the dealer's name sticker.

I plan on telling my dealer to not put his logo on and if he does to take it off and repair any damage. Also, I do think the 4x4 and off road stickers are tacky on will see if dealer will take them off. I am a no chrome guy and in your face does not cut it for me.

Minor point here, but there are buyers who will pass on any used vehicle from which the factory badging has been removed (not counting dealer crap-ola). I happen to be one, and the reason is too often the badging was never restored after collision repair, or the owner treats his expensive car like junk. Not saying there aren't supreme condition vehicles with the badging removed, just that some buyers, looking for well cared for hardware, will automatically pass on a badge delete vehicle.

I decided to add these bad boys! Matte black ford emblem on front and back!! Got them on eBay!
Hopefully they stay on! Used some plastic JB weld and some 3m dual sided tape to help keep the elements from seeping into the cracks!
