Aesthetic and the cast end tanks. When welded end tanks are made a welder just welds edges together (which, frankly, is not best for airflow as there are hard edges). Welded end tanks don't come out as "clean", so paint helps.

Again, the paint is heat dispersant so there is 0 effect on performance (we test all of them painted).

Heat-dispersant paint (same as on the black unit)! No negative thermal effect.
