I’m at 148,500 miles and my new truck days are past so I gotta keep this one going.Part of me wants to try out the new v6 ranger and the other part wants to get a low mileage 21 or 22 ranger and swap the parts over, I am not a fan of the current apr loan rates on the new rangers
Good thing your ok.On the way home from work I was involved in a 4-car pile-up on Christmas Eve, I feel the truck is a total loss, what a bummer but at least I am okay the truck can be replaced
If the insurance company totals it ask them about a buy back, I did that a few years ago with a Caddy I got it for $100some pics

Heck yeah. Couple years ago my 2004 Suburban was totaled based on $4800 damage. I bought it back for $500, they wrote me a check for 5200 and gave me the truck. Buddy at a body shop fixed it for $1900, I drove it another year and sold it for $5k in 2024. I would have let it go, but it had a Jasper engine and trans that only had 30k on them and was still under warranty. If the insurance company totals it ask them about a buy back, I did that a few years ago with a Caddy I got it for $100
That's too bad I know you spent a lot of time and money building it. I'd try and go with the V6 and build the heck out of that one.Got the word this morning, it is totaled fame is bent, I have narrowed it down to 2 used rangers and 1 new ranger v6 depending on what I get from the insurance company for my truck
