I am sure this has been answered already, so I do apologize if this is a repeat question.

Based on what I have already searched, The only difference in suspension between the Non-Tremor and Tremor models is a beefier pair of rear leafs, coupled with the Fox 2.0 suspension.

If this is correct, here is what I am looking to do:

I am always travelling for work, and Rex the Ranger is my only set of wheels. I am at the point of requiring a rebuild on my Fox suspension. Now, if I schedule this during a week where I work locally, and if the repair facility's turnaround is within a week, I can be without the truck and let them do their thing. (Fox's website does not let Canadian residents submit a rebuild request online, it looks like it has to be done by an authorized repair facility).

Otherwise, if I cannot swing a local week, I will need to get a pair of front and rears to swap in so that I can stay on the road while the shop rebuilds the fox ones. Preferably, I would like to just get a generic kit to run while they are in the shop. If I can find Fox ones at a good price, I would do that, but unfortunately I am on a bit of a tight budget.

Can it be confirmed that if I found stock ranger struts and shocks (Not Fox) that they would work with the truck?

EDIT: I am looking at these: 19-23 Ranger FOX 2.0 Stage 1 Suspension Package to see if they would bolt right in with no issues (aside from doing an alignment after install), then taking out the factory suspension, rebuild it, and store them until its time to rinse and repeat

Hey appreciate you sending this that's great!

Given all 4 corners are sweating, id want all of them. Stage 3 has the fox tuned by Ford 2.0 kit, and it looks like it should be a simple drop in and re-align. Only thing I saw different was the rears in that kit don't have reservoirs or the guards like the OEM ones

Assuming this should be fine?
Get the front coil overs from stage 3 and order the piggy back resi fox 2.0 from the link he provided. ? then you can have the neat looking ones. Compromise (personally I don’t shop on eBay though.)

I've been doing a fair bit of research, and I think I'm going to go with the Eibach Pro Truck Stage 2R kit!

I think those are a excellent choice… pretty good price point aswell.

Well here's the math:

TL;DR Eibachs baby!

To rebuild them, I'd need to decomission Rex for about two weeks, which means I'm out of work. Then I'd additionally be paying for shipping from CAN to US plus paying for the rebuilds. Nobody in my city rebuilds fox shocks.

Option two is just to buy another Ford OEM set, which I was quoted $3200 parts only for all four corners, not including coil springs, top mounts and bearings. Or of course I could just pay for the labor to swap the old coils and top mounts over to the new struts.

3 is to get any one of the non oem Fox 2.0 kits available but again be stuck with a rebuild every 2 years or less with the kind of miles I put on.

4 is to get the eibachs, which have no rebuild interval for nearly the same price as the fox ones.

Do not spend $3200.00 on the ford performance ones… you could go on roush and get those ones they’re very close to the OEM tremor ones. (Claimed to be slightly different tuning to match the roush wheels.)
IMG_1274.webp

They’re adjustable 0-2”
Also camburg has a kit with the 2.0’s with the their tubular uca’s for less than 3200.00… so whatever you do don’t spend 3200 on fox 2.0’s ?.

with Eibach yeah no rebuilding them but it doesn’t mean they’re not going to need replacement at some point..(not knocking them btw.).
Serviceable shocks/struts is a feature I’d like to have personally….
But the pro truck 2rs do look es sexy?
