?Lol i assumed people probably ask this alot just like tires sizes, regardless i thought might as well ask since i may be getting one for super super cheapOh no, here we go again! Maybe one for a Taco might fit.
Kidding - others will get that joke.
The rails might fit but the headboard and tailgate could be an issue. I’ve heard our headboard sits lower than the side rails (someone correct me if this is wrong) and the curve in the tailgate might not be the same.
Sounds like you have a possible deal on one that you just can’t pass up.
Good luck.
If the price is right, Bondo will make it work...?Lol i assumed people probably ask this alot just like tires sizes, regardless i thought might as well ask since i may be getting one for super super cheap
thanks for advice?
luckily enough he seems pretty nice and is willing to let me test fit to determine whether i should buy it or not so i guess we will see?‍I think you could make a pretty well-educated guess if the seller would let you sit it on the bed. You'd be able to pretty quickly tell if you might just need to fudge a few things or if it would require too much work.

Not a cap but my brother in law gave me the roll up bed cover from his Chevy Colorado and the width was perfect for my 21 ranger lariat but the rails were 11" too long. Trimmed em down and got a good fit. I have the 5foot bed.i know its a very specific question and i understand all caps are made differently but was wondering is anyone running a cap for a new style colorado/canyon on their ranger and made it work?
If so how is it and do you have any pictures of it?
without a doubt i assume ill have to make some mods if it evens fits to begin with, but i just wanted it for camping in and since its so cheap i was like might as well give it a shotSo having just got a canopy on my truck, main issue i could see would be the height of it (not necessarily an issue but would be obvious its not meant for the truck), and the tailgate seal. My leer fully covers the top of the tailgate with the rear window trim.
I remember in the not-to-distant past, someone tried and succeeded in installing a Toyota part on a Ranger, so I'm sure there is some way to fit a Chebbie part to one !!!without a doubt i assume ill have to make some mods if it evens fits to begin with, but i just wanted it for camping in and since its so cheap i was like might as well give it a shot
