Chirp Engine Noise

I’ve noticed that there are a lot of posts about Ranger engine noise. This noise is different than those who mention rattle or clicking.
This sounds to me like a pump or pulley is making contact with something.
The dealership acknowledged that the truck is making the sound, but they will not address the noise under warranty because there is no performance issue.
Does anyone recognize this sound?

I cant get the audio to play, BUT, I also have a chirp noise I notice at idle when in the garage.
I dont really give it much thought with all the solenoids and pumps on these engines.

edit: I got the vid to play. and yes, pretty sure mine makes a very similar sound, mine might even be a bit chirpier than a clicking, but same sort of thing

I have noticed the same sound in mine as well, 2021. I suspect it is some intake pressure side valve opening and closing during idle. I will mention it sooner or later but I am not too worried about it. I have 5600miles on my Ranger at this moment.

Either I have gotten used to it or do not notice it as much as I used to as I mentally kinda set it as likely normal....yet annoying.

I have the same noise, nothing seems wrong with the truck though fwiw.

Not a mechanic but it sounds like one of the thousand stickers they leave on everything slapping around in there. Just a thought.

Some other folks on this thread appear to be referencing the wastegate opening and closing (which is much more chirp-like) but that's not what the OP is dealing with.

My truck makes that noise too. The chirp I recorded in the video is not the same.
