So wondering how many if anyone else considered doing this swap also. You can probably do the whole swap for about 400 total. You gain load capacity on leafs to roughly same as tremor package. More flex and travel. You could set the hangers to the correct 45 degree to gain a smoother ride. Older ranger prerunner guys and tacoma prerruner and crawler guys do it all the time.

Interesting, Haven't seen this swap mentioned here yet.

I just received both of my multi leaf ROW Ranger springs from the UK, even with shipping and having to buy new U bolts I'm under 400. Previous reports from a couple of fellow inmates suggest it's an improvement.

Curious on the improvement in flex mostly with better ride quality thrown in as an added bonus. It would be neat if the Chevy setup was just as good ( or possibly better ) cause those delivery truck take offs out of the UK will be gone in no time and I'd suspect buying new from Ford ROW with shipping will be cost prohibitive.

Other options are Icon and possibly OME if they sell them separate, more options are always better.

This swap would require very minimal welding, but it's rather straight forward. Having longer springs dampens hits better because of larger load area. They are favored in prerunner world a lot. I suspect you could easily gain ranger raptor travel numbers from rear easily

Hmm, OEM Ranger springs are 52" with a 22/29 split.

The through the frame rear shackles are pretty far back so I'm unsure there's enough space to add another 12" of spring.

Yes welding would be involved probably won't hurt you to look at older rangers or explorers that have short leaf springs and see it isn't something off the wall.

So chevy leafs are 1500 load capacity but set to the correct angle its possible to loose a couple hundred pounds. Although setting angle to 45 instead of the already drooped angle of 90 how the come from factory would soften the ride as well as net more droop from the shakle swing. Depending on shakle length you can gain a ton of travel. I am going to start ordering parts here soon as I finish my f150 raptor swap. As I am already swapping the 57 inch leafs to raptor 63 inch leafs. Drew up rather quick mounting points and the length of shakle needed and how it would swing to 90*. I've also attached some pix of the same process on f150 that I'm doing which is a bit more involved.
