Could you imagine the charging lines at the local electrical substation? Because I know my house ain't got the current needed to put 900miles of energy in a battery in 10 minutes.

Most likely kinetic energy storage system on site with constant steady charge. When an EV pulls over it dump the energy from the bank and just continues charging as nothing happened. These are already used for several decades in hospitals ect.
