I think you're right Steve. I keep seeing a lot of articles and YouTube videos on how the cost of new cars are rising way to fast now. Some are saying if this continues only the rich will be able to afford them.I heard used car prices were on the rise again. Didn't verify.
One podcast I was watching they talked about how Toyota first came into the US market and made very good cars at reasonable prices and started to take away sales from all the US manufacturers. They said we need another one like that to step up and do this again because there's really nothing out there in the mid $20K-$30K range. I think the problem with that though is all the US regulations now and what has to be standard (airbags, rear cams etc) is driving that low price point higher.
