If you get a steel fuel can for your rig I'd suggest this one for sure.Saw that one on Amazon...one I'm thinking about getting.
Beware, I've heard of fake knockoffs being sold on Amazon.

Thanks...I am a senior, very senior, but haven't reached the point I can't lift a 5 gal gas can (even filled), yet.Handy to use...holding 5 gallons in the air is ball buster for seniors...

It's a pain in the ass, but the little white funnel under the seat works fine. I bought a couple extra on Amazon so I can have one in my tool bag as well. Works fine just a little hassle is all.Pardon my ignorance, but is there an issue getting the fuel in the tank because of the capless filler tube?
Thank you Dave again!!! I am going dune riding 11/5 and then washboard off roading/hill climbs perhaps 11/6! I was wondering what to use to hold extra gas since it might be a rather extended trip. These are the only ones I've ever carried for extra fuel. We used to dirt bike and snowmobile in very remote areas and have never had any problems in years of caring VP jugs.

Should also say... I cycle through the gas and try not to let it sit for more than 2 months in the can... Probably overkill but I don't want to find myself in the middle of nowhere with bad gas!

Any gas I keep around for a period of time get a good dose of Sta-Bil. Will use it up before winter.Should also say... I cycle through the gas and try not to let it sit for more than 2 months in the can... Probably overkill but I don't want to find myself in the middle of nowhere with bad gas!
There's a special funnel that comes with the vehicle. It should be stored under the rear seat behind Jack. That's the only way you can put fuel in there(that I am aware of) if not using a pump.Pardon my ignorance, but is there an issue getting the fuel in the tank because of the capless filler tube?
No problem Brandon. It's always fun helping others spend their money. ?Thank you Dave again!!! I am going dune riding 11/5 and then washboard off roading/hill climbs perhaps 11/6! I was wondering what to use to hold extra gas since it might be a rather extended trip.
Now I gotta go look for that, too! There's a special funnel that comes with the vehicle. It should be stored under the rear seat. That's the only way you can put fuel in there(that I am aware of) if not using a pump.
Let me go verify it was in my truck since I hadn't seen it. Fold the backseat down then it's behind a jack on the passenger sideNow I gotta go look for that, too!
