Saw that one on Amazon...one I'm thinking about getting.
If you get a steel fuel can for your rig I'd suggest this one for sure.

Beware, I've heard of fake knockoffs being sold on Amazon.

I use the Roto Pax ... 5 gallon for the truck, 2 one gallons for the Harley trike. Started using these because they are fume less. Fumes in the trunk of the trike can be bad ... LOL.

Pardon my ignorance, but is there an issue getting the fuel in the tank because of the capless filler tube?
It's a pain in the ass, but the little white funnel under the seat works fine. I bought a couple extra on Amazon so I can have one in my tool bag as well. Works fine just a little hassle is all.

Should also say... I cycle through the gas and try not to let it sit for more than 2 months in the can... Probably overkill but I don't want to find myself in the middle of nowhere with bad gas!

Any gas I keep around for a period of time get a good dose of Sta-Bil. Will use it up before winter.
Fuel I would keep on the Ranger, on a trip would go into tank at end of trip.

There's a special funnel that comes with the vehicle. It should be stored under the rear seat behind Jack. That's the only way you can put fuel in there(that I am aware of) if not using a pump.

Thank you Dave again!!! I am going dune riding 11/5 and then washboard off roading/hill climbs perhaps 11/6! I was wondering what to use to hold extra gas since it might be a rather extended trip.
No problem Brandon. It's always fun helping others spend their money. :piggybank: ?

I always liked these VP Jugs as they're very thick and even up in Northern Maine or Canada where it's -20 they've held up great. I personally don't like steel cans they get dented easier when things are sliding all around. I had a bungee break once and one was rolling around for miles and never lost a drop plus I just feel safer with plastic over steel.

Now I gotta go look for that, too!

Let me go verify it was in my truck since I hadn't seen it. Fold the backseat down then it's behind a jack on the passenger side

I carry one or two 5gal containers from Harbor Freight strapped down in the bed for trips when I tow

Bought an extra one of the funnels from the dealership and jammed a cutoff transmission funnel in there. Looks/functions like a regular funnel
