Coming up on 50K miles and needing my free oil change, I took mine ('21 Tremor) into the Dealer and got a trans flush, brake fluid flush and a fuel injector cleaning (recommended every 12K miles?) while I was at it. Sounds like a similar process that was described to me as "We disable the fuel pump and run our "cleaning fluid" through the injectors."My 2020 ranger (bought new in oct 21) has 53k miles in it. Dealer is recommending Carbontek service
don’t trust a thing the dealers say. Wondering what you guys think. Is it needed, is it worth it?
thanks

We had a short discussion about bead blasting for the known issue of carbon fouling on the middle two cylinders and he said the cleaning solution would also blast out said carbon buildup without removing the top end, so much cheaper.
Invoice was around $180 for this service, mostly labor.
Time will tell, I guess...
