Cap for 21 Supercab?

We'd like to get a cap for our gray/silver 2021 Ranger XLT Supercab (6' bed). It would be primarily for security of items in the bed, but also may at some point use it for sleeping on trips. What's the current landscape like for these items, any recommendations or used ones (I also posted a want to buy)?

I bought a Gator X tri fold hard cover from Real Truck when my Ranger was new.
The unlocking cable is only accessible with the tail gate down, so there is decent security. But the lock bolts are nylon, so anyone with a pry bar who knows how it locks could get in.
Good cover. The box had been bone dry through many heavy rains.

I've been very happy with our ARE CX Evolve cap. Bought it soon after we purchased the truck and have had no issues. At the time I bought it, I think it was the only option for the 6' bed.

Just purchased an RSI Smart Cap Evo for my super crew, getting installed on Monday. Was put on sale and a local truck dealer and got it for $3581 installed. I like the fact it has the built in rails up top and glass all the way around that opens up.

I got a quote of $2700 for the leer 100s painted and installed, so that's a possibility as it's in our budget. Waiting for ARE. The smart caps are too much I think, but very nice.

I agree they're expensive. I just happened to search the website and hit the clearance button. Msrp was $4595.

I have the base model ARE - CX Classic on my SuperCab. No sliding rear window on my truck, so no sliding front window on the topper. Fitment and body lines are great, latch still turns smoothly after all these years and a lot of use. No cracks or leaks. No complaints.

If you plan on sleeping in it, you might want to consider a model with sliding side windows.

If Bill (OP) is looking in the used market, it might be tough to find a SuperCab cap but adding black to the search criteria increases the chances of finding one.

Changing up the canopy colour is a great idea. It certainly works for the folks who buy a GFC or SmartCap. Another member put a Magnetic topper on his SuperCab and it looks great with all the other Magnetic bits on his truck.

Tip: If you buy used and are putting it on yourself, the headboard sits low, so extra care/material might be needed to get it to seal properly up front. Maybe others on here will chime in on any challenges they had in that area and how easy/difficult overcoming them can be.

Looks like an MX Series to me. Man, SuperCabs look nice with a cap.

I got a quote for a Leer 100S painted and installed for $2,700 and a A.R.E. V Series for $2,711 installed (but no mention of paint). Any comments on the two? I don't have weights, that might make a difference as I pull a travel trailer and want to keep weight down when possible.
