Knife goes in...alarm goes off...I'm at the truck within a minute with my firearm...theft of bed contents prevented. Insurance will take care of the top damage, not worried about that.
I posted before about my cap search, but ultimately I'll have to go softopper due to weight concerns towing my travel trailer, don't want to push those weight limits in any way. So that goes now to security - soft tops are great but can be cut into. Has anyone used any kind of alarm inside them...
I got a quote for a Leer 100S painted and installed for $2,700 and a A.R.E. V Series for $2,711 installed (but no mention of paint). Any comments on the two? I don't have weights, that might make a difference as I pull a travel trailer and want to keep weight down when possible.
I got a quote of $2700 for the leer 100s painted and installed, so that's a possibility as it's in our budget. Waiting for ARE. The smart caps are too much I think, but very nice.
We'd like to get a cap for our gray/silver 2021 Ranger XLT Supercab (6' bed). It would be primarily for security of items in the bed, but also may at some point use it for sleeping on trips. What's the current landscape like for these items, any recommendations or used ones (I also posted a want...
FYI one trick I didn't know but learned is you can adjust the volume specifically on turn by turn and alerts by adjusting it when those are playing, if you're fast enough to catch it.
My biggest gripe with android auto is that when I get any kind of audio directions, either from google maps or waze, it knocks down the volume of anything else I'm listening to through the car radio, for example the built in siriusxm. Does this wireless adapter fix that problem? Thanks!
We do get the alerts from other drivers, so that's good! Was just hoping to reciprocate by doing our part to let folks know about conditions and hazards.
This feature rolled out six months or more ago (ability to report police, stuff on road, etc) for Google Maps on Android Auto. I have all the correct updates/versions of Maps/ Android Auto. Is the vehicle screen too small? Doesn't seem it is. Can I change the display resolution to get more real...
I'll try that. I'll note that it had worked before, different wifi network but it had connected at some point when I owned this vehicle. I'll try the hotspot instead.
It felt like I wasn't up to date for some reason so I checked the wifi connection from the truck (2021 Ranger XLT) and it was using some old wifi network. I tried to connect it to our home wifi at both the 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands, making sure password is correct (why can't we have a show password...
I'm liking the five year warranty and 600lb weight capacity on this Extang. https://realtruck.com/p/extang-solid-fold-alx-tonneau-cover/v/ford/ranger/2021/
I'm looking for a hard folding cover for our 2021 Ranger XLT with 6' bed. I see the WeatherTech is just a Lomax so I'd just order from Lomax, but realtruck.com has choices from BAK, Gator, Extang, UnderCover, Access/LOMAX. Any recs on those brands?
The Lomax can hold 400lbs on top in case I...
Thank you for your service. Every generation of my family has served. I was USAF, son and son-in-law USMC. Where are you, MO? I think there are services like roadie.com that would bring it up toward me. I could look at that, perhaps. What do you think you'd want for the cap?
We have the 2021 Ranger XLT Supercab 6' Box and have the soft bed cover but want something more secure and more storage space so looking for a hard cap. We are in the Lehigh Valley area of PA (Bethlehem, Allentown, Easton).
