Can you use FORScan on iPad?

I noticed on the FORScan download page that there are iOS versions. Has anyone used it on their iPad?, Is that even possible.

I downloaded it to my iPad and it starts and looks like everything is in order.

I was hoping my OBD dongle was compatible with it, but it wouldn’t work, so a compatible dongle is on the list of things to get.

I bet it works if you have a dongle that is compatible.

The only version that will allow you to make changes is the Windows version with an extended license. The IOS and Android versions are Lite versions and only allow checking and clearing codes and veiwing parameters.

Never even got that far. I actually would have considered that a victory. I just wanted to start to get my feet wet.

Are they selling the extended license? I had read somewhere that it was on hold due to the current unpleasantness?

Looks like they are selling a one year license for $12 again and can still get the 2 month free trial.

I have a couple of Windows laptops laying around I use from time to time for things the Mac doesn’t support, maybe I will give it a go.

Is there a thread here that outlines what I need besides FORScan and the windows machine to fully operate the system?

Thanks I think I have it now,I just went over to their site. I ordered the preferred USB to ODB cable (nutty price, just for a cable, but not much in the grand scheme of aftermarket goodies on the list).
