Busted Rear Lamp Question

A while back my driveway gate closed on my truck and popped my rear lamp like a balloon. The only thing wrong with it is the shattered glass. The lights still work well. Is this thing trash or is there a use for a rear lamp like this. For example do people fix the glass? It’s hard to throw it away because it was expensive to replace but it’s been taking up a good amount of garage space.

I had a similar thing happen. I took the pieces that were broken out and glued it all back together with clear two part epoxy and used it until I could get a new one. I keep it as a spare.

Post it up for sale. Someone will buy it, "fix" it with red tape, and be happy as a pig in slop.
