My Ranger just recently hit 10,000 miles so I scheduled a service appointment with my local dealer. I asked for the 10,000 mile service package, but upon arrival they said I was scheduled for The Works package. Is there any major difference between the two? I haven’t been able to find much info on the 10,000 mile service package and what it offers. Thank you guys!

well this is the 10000mile list from the owners manual, and the works package list, it pretty much looks at every item on that list. compare the two.

Pretty much looks identical, thank you!

since the Works claims its something like an 83 point inspection, with tire rotation, i would look like it exceeds the 10000mile....provided they do it all. some guys have claimed they were in and out in a short time.
I just had mine done last week, and they took almost an hour and a half.
That was my concern too. I knew The Works had an inspection but I wasn’t sure what all was in it. I was also there for about an hour and a half so I’m assuming it was a decently thorough inspection.

It seems like it's basically give it a good look around under and oil change. Is there a big price difference when compared to an oil change?

And most importantly, is this required for warranty?
