I have a chance to get some like new Roush Iridium Gray rims with some like new KO2 LT315/70R17 tires with trade in of mine for like $1500. My Ranger currently has a Fox 2.0 coilover kit, leveled out. It also has ReadyLIFT intrusion beams. The rims are the stock 18in "splash" rims with Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T 275/65R18 with Spidertrax 1.5in spacers (won't be needing those anymore).

Any chance they'll fit without rubbing or is this a pipe dream? Maybe ask if they can exchange on some tried and true 285/70/17s?

I'm just not a fan of the OEM 18s anymore. Too much rim, not enough sidewall.

No, those won't fit. They are essentially a 35" tire size. LT285/70R17 will fit with those wheels and your current modifications.

It's a rim and tire company here in Texas that deals with OEM rims, I'll call them tomorrow and see what they can do about putting 285/70R17s on them instead at the same price. Doesn't hurt to ask.

They might be open to doing a test fit - throw them on, lower the hoist, turn the wheels to full lock and check things out in real time. If they’re only close to rubbing, do a hard, quick three point turn in their parking lot. This should compress your suspension at lock. Then, you’ll know for sure.

But, yeah, you’re going to rub. :(

if you want another inch you could run 285/75/17 but you are going to need to lift it, thats what I am running Roush rims too :)
I do not believe you can get 315 under there not even on mine with a lift 315 is a big jump from 285 ...
