I was "kicking tires" down in Phoenix when I stopped in at Chapman Ford. Needless to say, I'm not buying from them ever. I hate how most dealers are gouging the customers. The window sticker lists it at $94,455, but they list MSRP at $124,455 with a $15,000 savings. So you jack it up by 30K then knock off 15K, what a deal. :explode: :curse:

Sad thing is we (the public) let them get away with it! Someone will "I HAVE to have the hottest thing on the market." Hate it for the sales people but I hope no one buys them. My local dealer has a Bronco Raptor, window sticker is 94K with an online "deal" for $100,700

I know of two people that recently purchased the Bronco Raptor at MSRP. I'm not sure why consumers assume that because one dealer has ADM's on their vehicles, they all must be the same and don't even bother performing some real basic due diligence. Anyone paying ADM in this market with vehicles filling up dealer lots is a fool, IMO.

The pandemic is over and supply chains are back to normal. This ADM phenomenon is over, but if dealers think it's not, they will be sitting on a lot of unsold inventory in 2024! It'll be fun watching them compete for business, but I don't have any patience to even step foot in a dealer that is known for ridiculous ADM price markups. I've already written them off and they will never get my business at any price. They may not care, but I do.

I can sleep better at night knowing I didn't take the bait and walk in with a briefcase of free cash for them. Still can't believe people are doing this.

Bingo! Have Americans lost the basic essence of negotiating or just flat out lazy? I'm guessing it's both.

Meh, some people just have more money than sense and dealers will be happy to take it from them.

Don't be jealous because others can drop 125k on a jeep/land-rover hybrid.

Dealers have always gauged us, in my opinion.
Ever see a 2-3 year old lease return for sale on a dealership's used lot? 100% of that asking price is 100% profit for the dealership. 2-3 years of lease payment plus the interest through the manufacture's bank totally pays for the production of that vehicle.

For $100,000 dollars I will take a Corvette any day!
Why?

Wait, do you wear knee high white aocks, white sneakers and shorts?

They are doing the same with the 6G Ranger Raptor. 10-15K ADM on preorders, and every one of them is sold.
What, all 3000 of them? :like:

I won't be with the sheeple crowd. Whenever they show up on lots (1 year, 2 years etc), maybe then, but I'm certainly not giving any dealer a briefcase full of case just because. I can afford it, but won't do it based on principle. My current vehicles drive just fine and I can wait.

Especially stupid since you can view the window sticker right on their site:

well, I doubt people are buying Broncos instead of corvettes. Seem like different purpose vehicles. Same thing with f150 Raptor Rs.

Having did that, I would not pay $100k for the Bronco Raptor or the Corvette.
