Hi Joe...glad you got it fixed! The hills in NC can still cause people to freak out when I'm coming over a hill...there's no amount of adjustment to fix that lol...
Sid I would hate to flash you as you would blind me with your million lights LOL.
I did adjust my Lariat headlights after putting on my Bilstein shocks. However my Diode Dynamic yellow SS4 Pro driving light are so frigging bright but I never get flashed???? Not sure why but I probably deserve to be flashed LOL!

"In a world where you can choose to be anything, choose to be kind." I wish more people would adhere to that philosophy. Especially our politicians and public figures. Thanks
@M SPEC

I saw that quote recently. It was like a slap in the face, I had to use it somewhere.
Easy rule to live by.

had a good round of fog tonight in my area. the fog made it very easy to tell who had headlights aimed correctly vs. who did not. seemed like about 1/3 of the cars had lights aimed high. a few of them that seemed high were newish models making me think they may have left the line with the headlights out of wack ?

Interesting, another symptom of the current state of manufacturing issues?

I'm not saying I do this too, but I don't, not do this...

I also don't get a kick out of turning on my ditch lights as they go past either... Especially to folks who have their brights on - or the bro trucks with the cheap Un focused Amazon special light bars turns on.

As a safety guy, I never do things that are unsafe, just to be extra clear...
... your Honor.

I do. I swapped out mine for LEDs. I adjusted them, have no level yet. Still get flashed. I just hit them back.

I kept adjusting until I was not flashed anymore...the interesting thing is that aiming higher often gives you less road coverage because the main hot spot is unable to reach that far down the road...better to aim down and light up the pavement where it's useful while not offending the oncoming drivers...

I use this method to adjust mine...park my wife's car facing me 100ft in front of mine and check how my lights appear from that perspective...another is to drive up behind her car and see if my lights project into the interior...if it does, it needs to be moved down...

No wife so can't try that one. I work from home all but 4 days a month so it's not a big deal for me. When I get my bonus in Feb I'm going to add a level and new wheels and tires anyway. I'll have the dealer check it all it I'm done and they align the front end.

Check your lights if they're going into small car's interior when you drive up to them at a light...if adjusted correctly, all of your lights will land on their trunk and stop right at the bottom of their back window...

Housings or just bulbs for LEDS? drop-in LEDs in the stock housing scatter light all over the place, and are a hazard, regardless of your adjustment. flick your lights off on the highway and take a look at how dim exit signs get, 20' in the air. That's your LEDs "alignment" in halogen housing.

When LED drop ins were first introduced, they were notorious for causing horrible glare because the manufacturers didn't take into account the "projection" point...filament bulbs have a specific hot spot...the correct LEDs are designed with their emitters in the same exact spot so it reflects exactly like the incandescent off the reflectors...albeit, much much brighter...

Have you looked at the incadescent bulbs you pulled out vs the LEDs? the filaments in the halogens emit in ALL directions, not directionally like LEDs. That's the issue.

Exactly what was the point he missed, because I missed it too?

What are the "correct" LEDs that exactly match the incandesent filement. I haven't seen any.
