So I'm looking to upgrade my Ranger XLT from the silver alloy wheels with Bridgestone Dueler H/T tires to the charcoal wheels with Hankook Dynapro ATMs.

I have no knowledge about tires; will one of these ride significantly nicer than the other? Will the change be an upgrade, downgrade, or just stay similar in ride quality?

Are you staying at 17"? Going to 18" does make a difference as there is less sidewall on the 18's.

Ask 100 people and get a 100 opinions. I purposefully avoided the Duelers. Really like the Hankooks. One reason, among a few things, why we chose this truck.

I recently had my Bridgestones balanced by National Tire & Battery, NTB, and they don’t think much of these tires.
Personally I haven’t had any issues and had good wear on another set on my old Ranger.

What Bridgestone’s are we comparing. Mine are the new AT Revo 3’s. New tire out recently.
Better and more aggressive look but smooth ride.

My truck came with 16" Bridgestone Dueler H/T.

Probably the worst tire I've ever had on any car, lasted all of 1200 miles before I replaced them.

The ones you guys have on look MUCH more robust, and would think those would handle better.

I have the Bridgestone Dueler A/T RH-S and I'm fairly happy with them so far. I have 1,500 miles on them and haven't had any issues. I haven't tried them out in any deep or compact snow but that will be happening tomorrow!

Here a testament to the Dueler A/T RH-S. Had a blast today up near Greenwater, WA.

I'm seeing Dueler A/T's on people's trucks that appear to have significantly different tread patterns. What's going on here?

Is that just the difference between Revo 2 and 3 or is there more? I'll have to have a look at what I have on mine but so far I like them. (only tested in snow)

Yeah there’s a difference. The OE tires are built to a spec provided by Ford. The ones found at tire shops are usually built to a higher spec. Handling and braking improved too with better tires.
