Hi all.
I am the original owner of a 2019 Ranger XLT SuperCrew (4x2), and I installed the Flowmaster FlowFX catback exhaust system about 6 years ago (https://www.holley.com/products/off-road/parts/717909).
I really do like the rumble when I drive but I’ve moved to a much denser/colder place...
Those look sweet but with that very melancholy report in terms of performance plus my tires still having a good amount of life, I don't think I can do it. Good luck with sales!
Went out in the snow/ice a few days ago, couldn't help myself so I did some sno-nuts in a parking lot. Got it washed a few days later to clear the salt off, no problems!
Thanks, you’re totally right now that I peek all the way under. It just seems to run up onto the side a little at the very back there, I presume for extra protection. Cant believe I never noticed that before!
So I noticed today near the end of the bed on the bottom on both sides it’s very rippled like this:
Is this normal? Did it come like this and I never noticed before?
It's quite possible, I'm still just perplexed on how none of us felt anything. It truly felt smooth as we went through. The PSI thing is definitely a plan in the future, although I'm also just not going back to that parking area again. We spent about an hour trying digging the wheels out...
I suppose maybe this should be common knowledge, but just do not overestimate the off-roading capability of the 2WD Ranger with no skid plate. The stock tires lose traction on even fairly tame sand, and the front end can bottom out easier than you might expect. If you'd like the story that...
So I was on the beach and there’s an access road, but it had a few big puddles on it. We gauge tested one of them, it looked fine, so we headed through with my truck. Well somehow we missed that it dipped down a bit in the middle and somehow my truck bottomed out in it (Although none of us felt...
No and I totally wish I did. I think it would’ve saved me completely here because that was the exact part of the car that seems to have hit something.
Well first I got it stuck (regret not having 4WD):
Then broke the radiator and multiple air conditioning parts :(:
Didn't think anything was functionally broken, drove about 30min, then lost all of my coolant at once:
Still in the shop about a month later waiting on the hose for the...
Hey all,
I got a new set of the OEM charcoal wheels recently as a gift, can't wait to throw them on! Just wondering how much you guys have paid to get 4 new wheels put on (and tires swapped over from the old wheels) and balanced. Not super knowledgeable on cars and don't want to get ripped off...
I’d like to convert my halogen headlights to LED. Can this be done, or would I have to buy the whole LED headlamp assembly? I’d really like LED headlights but the pricing I saw on the replacement headlamps was absurd.
I’d say it’s like the perfect level of loudness. If you accelerate hard it’s plenty loud but when driving easy/idling there’s just enough rumble to let you know it’s there. Any louder and it’d be annoying; again this is all imo though, I’m not super experienced with exhausts so I have nothing to...
Yeah I don’t think she’ll have that concern here. Unless you’re intentionally accelerating to try and get the RPMs up a bit, it barely sounds different then normal. That’s the beauty of it for me; business by day, party by night.
Uploaded a compilation of all of the interior videos with descriptions before each;
Sorry about the road/other noises, it was literally just filming on my way home from grabbing the truck.
My quick review; great rumble, not annoying/no drone whatsoever but just enough character to let you know...
Update: I got the truck with it! Sounds absolutely amazing. No cabin drone whatsoever, just a little rumble when idling/driving easily that lets you know it’s there. When you get on it though, it’s pretty surprisingly loud! I didn’t have time to get an outside revving video tonight (I’m in the...
