Borla exhaust burn/smoke

I know there are others that have replaced stock exhaust with Borla kits, have any of you noticed a big white smoke increase? Curious if this is normal and just something burning off or another issue. I had a shop do it while I had shocks done up on the rack, easy install and sounds great, just a little concerned about the amount of smoke. Just got it done so only 4-5 starts with the new exhaust. Thanks!

I think a lot of new exhaust systems have a smell and burn off issues from the manufacturing process. Should clear up soon.

I have the same exhaust and did not notice any smoke or smell from it when I first installed it. That was 3 years ago now but don't recall anything?? I do like the sound too!!

When I have looked at exhausts online I have seen on a few of the listings. That white smoke is a normal process from manufacturing.

Went with the Carven here but the first couple starts did have a smell, I think it's break in as the new material heats up and gets coated with exhaust fumes and whatnot

Went away pretty quickly

Let's see... ol' skool loping V8 vs Singer sewing machine 4 pot. Yep. Probably sounds identical. Not.

Love the Ranger. But the only way to make it sound good is to stuff a V8 in it. The song a V8 sings is one thing that can never be replaced no matter how good the 4 & 6 cylinders have become with their power output.
