Hi all, just joined the forum and recently picked up a new 2020 Lariat. My first mod was installing a Bestop Supertop 2. There weren't many resources out there with pics or notes about the install, so I wanted to share my thoughts.
It was a relatively painless install and I'm very pleased with how it works and looks. We've got 3 big dogs and wanted to get something that will allow them to ride in the secured and covered in the back (we're in Hawaii so the longest trip is only 30 mins). I love the fact that the top folds down easily.
Some notes regarding install: I found that it was easier to loosely attach the rails that clamp to the bed and then tighten them down once the top was on and centered. The topper material is very stiff and required a bit of force to pull it on to the frame, but after a few days out in the sun, it seems to have stretched the right amount so that removing and reinstalling the side windows aren't as difficult. Also, there aren't many installs I've seen that include the third brake light installed. Bestop's instructions include a harness that you route from the bed through to the cab and connect to the wire harness that the stock center brake light uses. I decided to simplify it and used the same method that @BcP28 used for his softopper. I haven't had any issues yet and it works great. Waiting for the Bedrug to be delivered and I'll be set.
Here's a pic of the pups enjoying their new space:
