Well someone shoved a flathead screw driver along the side of my tailgate handle, popped the latch mechanism, dropped the tailgate and unbolted my tail lights. Left the wires hanging

If this hasn't been mentioned, put a sturdy rubber between the canopy and the bed or you could have oxidation and corrosion between your bed and your canopy. We saw this on HMMWV's in the military and its a nightmare.
I drive from North Texas (near Oklahoma border) to Dallas 3 days a week, avg 140 miles round trip per day and I am seeing 22.5-23.5 on the highway with cruise set at 75mph.
I am unsure how everyone is seeing bad MPG like that. I have a Lariat Tremor with ARB Skids and Shrockworks Rock rails (easily added 75lbs of steel to the truck) and I don't see anything less then 18 city and 21.5 highway. Most trips on the highway I am seeing 22.5-23.
You have some residual seeping through O-rings that is being burnt off when you start it. Probably on the turbo, either block fitting or outside turbo fitting. No worries. It is normal to seep. It's not normal to have a puddle. Also it only takes half a drop to make the whole engine smell like...
