I’ve got a 2021 Ranger Lariat FX4. I’m looking at getting either a Radflo or King 2.0 coil over kit with front and rear shocks. I’m going to lift the front 2-2.5” and I’d like to lift the rear 1” to maintain a factory rake. What would be the best option for this? I’ve considered lift blocks or a shackle lift but I really want to maintain a quality ride and handling, as well as avoid axle wrap. What other options are there? Add-a-leaf maybe?
Thanks for the help :)

Not sure the cost of all that but you will achieve a similar result with Old Man EMU. The front will lift 2.4 and the rear 1.6 inches. The nitrocharger kit includes all the shocks and springs for the lift and i have not had any issues with ride quality and control.

Thanks for the reply! I've looked at the EMU kit, considering cost and quality it looks really well made. How soft is the ride? One thing I really don't like about the FX4 is how jarring and stiff the ride can feel. Turning into a parking lot and just going over the curb and my head about hits the window every time. It's worse for the passengers in the rear. I'm looking at a softer and more compliant and comfortable ride. How's the EMU kit worked for you in this regard?

The Old Man EMU kit worked well for me. It will be a search for sure but i know I have a review of it somwhere on the forum. For ride quality you will still feel bumps in The road(you did buy a Ford Ranger, not a Rolls Royce) but it will be more comfortable compared to stock. The best way to descibe it is a nice Ballanced feel.

For a more comfortable ride and for a much higher price tag there is the BP-51 kit as well. It includes adjustable shocks. I wanted to run this but I dont have the Ranger anymore. That said even with the Nitrocharger kit and 33's i was able to go to a lot of good places in Colorado on the Trail.

I'll check em' out - thank you! How was the install?
Easy. I put one side on jack stands, removed the wheel and jacked up the rear control arm to raise the leaf spring. Then just unbolt the old one and bolt in the new one. Comes with directions and torque specs.

The design defect isn't enough?

Hell, by the time you are done they'll be no hope in hell of reaching over the side walls. Be a great marketing promo for the Frontier.
