I have the one pictured below. Picked it up in 2018. It’s on its 4th Alberta winter. Really happy with it. And for the price, I won’t be heart-broken if I forget it on the roof, err, I mean if I wear it out.

I picked up a blower last year. You know the intake just sucks in the snow-filled air and it just makes a mess. Used it once in the winter and again just a few weeks ago. I’ll leave the leaf blower for the leaves.

I just used a broom yesterday to remove snow from the bed cover and usually use it when there is a fair amount of snow. Never had a problem with scratches on the paint. I'm using a soft bristle broom, not one of the stiff ones. If the vehicle was hot when the snow fell, it usually leaves a layer of ice and the broom doesn't touch the paint anyway. If the ice sheet breaks loose, I stop and grab it and remove it by hand.
I don't think using a soft bristle broom would be any worse than a snowjoe on the paint. The dirt and ice is what would do the damage.

I don't know about other states, but in PA it's the law that snow has to be cleared off the vehicles so it doesn't slide off and blow/hit other vehicles on the road. This weekend's snow had a frozen top layer and it could easily have blown off driving down the road so I had to clear it off.
It's probably same in everywhere, you need to clear the snow. Sticky or iced snow might be hard for the blower but that remains to be seen until I get to getting one. At least a Husqvarna blower works, but it's a combi-trimmer attachment and quite awkward to handle in the mornings.

Until then I'm actually using this, as little as possible...

Just ordered one of these myself. My neighbour swears by it.

Just noticed something - look at you with the fancy, official-looking new plaque and all. ?
Be careful, it could scratch the clearcoat..

Are the bristles stiff or more of a soft fluffy fabrication?

Somewhere in the middle. Stiff enough to push/pull a few inches of snow. The tips are very soft so as not to do damage. If the snow is too heavy, I use the squeegee side.

It's fucking December and we've yet to have meaningful snowfall in Denver.

I wish I had this problem.

Careful what you ask for or you may need Big Mo!

I shouldn't say this because work gets harder, people don't show up and I have to actually work, when it snows heavy.

But, Bring it on!

Thats some strange time zone you’re in. Still November here ??‍♂
Forgive me.

I work nights and have a tendency to mentally shift time. My next "workday," whatever that means, is the first. Therefore, in my mind, it's December.
