Since my Wife got sick with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in early March and passed from transplant complications in late november 2024 I realy haven't been on here much. It was really her truck.
Now I've gone and traded it in for a new Bronco. With locking axles on both ends. No more worrying about the inevitable trans failure
When it comes home I will be moving to a different and probably less useful forum. I doubt there will be a P.A. Schilke.
Not looking forward to having to adapt to bunch of new personalities
It has been fun, frustrating, entertaining, and educational. I thank everyone for that even though I question the sanity of any group that allows me to participate.

Sorry for your loss Patrick and we're all here if you need anything.

The Bronco forum is well, it's the Bronco forum and I'll leave it at that.

So sorry to hear of your loss Patrick. Come by and lurk around if you get bored over there in Bronco land. We’ll try to be entertaining.

Same trans... 1080R, it is hard to get away from unless your Bronco is a manual.
Bronco has the 10R60, a lighter duty version of the 10R80, but it has the fixes in it.

OP, many condolences for your loss.

But according to members of this forum Ford has corrected the slipping bushing and software problems. After 2022? 23?

So sorry about your wife. That's rough.
What year is your Bronco? Might want to update your profile with your new ride. Oh, and we need pics!

Patrick, so sorry to hear about your wife - my sincere condolences. I can only imagine how rough the last few years have been for you.

On the Bronco, congratulations - I hope it treats you well. As others have said, pictures would be GREAT!
