Next truck will be the f350. Hopefully they still have the godzilla engine when that time comes.

What pushed you over? The Ranger is so good off and onroad.
gasoline in oil sump, transmission problems etc.. fortunately i didn't experience any of these problems nor do i want to. My truck needed about 4k worth of work done too it and subaru gave me an offer i couldnt refuse. 20k out the door with my ranger trade in for a crosstrek limited with a seven year warranty, ten year rust proofing and window tinting

it's weird that my 2019 is only 5 years old (nearly 4.5 years of that under my ownership) and this feels like the 2nd or 3rd round of folks moving on.

i remember a salesman told me years ago the average years of ownership for a vehicle was 3-4 years... i guess i can see it.

not that i'm judging anyone. i nearly got a full size truck a few months back. i wish you all luck in your next vehicle. it's just interesting to me that 5 years is feeling so long in the tooth for such a solid truck!

Well after five years i've decided to pack it in. Traded my favourite truck in on a Subaru Crosstrek. Just too many things going wrong, best of luck and if anyone needs a full set of brake rotors still in the sealed box they come in from Amazon i'll sell them to you half price for cash. I paid 300 from amazon. I'm in Niagara Falls Canada if you want to make the drive, send me an email [email protected]. god bless america and keep you safe after todays elections
Have fun with those head gaskets

I wouldn't throw Honda out just yet. Annie has owned 4 of them and besides regular maintenance they've all been great cars. I can see myself not needing a truck in the near future and I'll be giving Honda a strong look. My other choice would be a Hyundai because my parents and a few friends have had several and they've been great too.

My 2011 had the same issue, now it appears my 2020 is in the same boat, but it's not drinking oil this time. On my 2011 they had to open the engine and replace all the pistons for example. I don't have faith in Honda any longer.
