Hey everyone, my truck got some very minor damage on the beside. I took it to a few body shops to get some quotes on fixing it and there all charging over $1000 because they claim they have to remove the bedside in order to fix the very small dent. I don’t doubt that this is true however if I am going to be paying $1000 or more I would rather do a upgrade to the truck. I was going to do the Coastal Off-road high clearance bumper but I’ve decided I would rather do a bedside chop prerunner style on the stock bedside since it would just cut the dent out anyways. Has anyone done this yet? I want to cut it up at a angle and then do a super simple tube style rear bumper. I’ve attached pictures of the RTR funrunner, it has the style I want but it’s on fiberglass bedsides I want to do this on my stock bedsides. Any advice you guys have would be very helpful. Thank you!
