being the tight wad I am, I wasn’t going to pay FMC‘s outrageous price for two more tie downs. I saw someone else had I the idea of eye bolts but I wasn’t sure of the backup structure. So I found these on Amazon and the holes line up perfectly, only had to enlarge holes for the 8mm bolts.

Nice find! I Like those better than the factory loops.

You may have to trim away some of the end guard, and maybe shorten the T bar a little to get the M8 bolts to fit and have clearance for rope, but even so, I like it!

Please update after you receive and install them.

That is installed in the very front locations. I only had to enlarge the holes to accept the 8mm bolts. i used hex head.

HA ha, I liked them so much I failed to comprehend the whole post. The one thing I miss about my F150 loops is the ability to loop rope over it, without having to fish it through all the way.

I recently found 4 FMC loops from another Ranger owner and have 8 installed in my truck now, but think I'm going to order 2 of these for consideration to replace the middle hooks. Again, nice find!

I agree with Jay, those look great and the cleat design is versatile.

$11.49 USD Amazon
$8.81 USD Shipping to Canada
$20.30 USD = $26.18 CAD

Here’s a typical example of Canadian Distributors hosing Canadians.

I found them on Amazon.ca.

$41.50 CAD Free delivery for Prime members.

Gawd, it’s bad enough we get winter 11 months a year. ;)

Great find. It says the hole spacing is approx. 3.65" on center and the factory holes are 3.75" on center. So it would be best to widen out the spacing when opening the holes up for M8 threads.

EDIT: It also comes in a 4 pack.

took a bit but once I found something that was close to the mounting holes spaces I was all in. It justified my recent drill press purchase

I would be a little concerned that those bolt heads don’t appear to set flush against the bracket. Can you tighten them down more?
