I've had no problems with them Matt...the external cameras have been holding up well...even the two under the truck that are exposed to rain puddles and under body car wash blasts...

Sounds like a good review to me! I'm thinking i'll wire it to the fogs to turn it on with that switch. It's mainly when i'm parking forward, i can't tell where my bumper is. I tend to reverse park everywhere for that reason.

Yeah i do when I'm reverse parking. Since I can't see the front i tend to only reverse park. That's why I want the camera.

I'm thinking about wiring it to the fog light so if I need to activate the front camera I can switch on the fog lights. Do you have an opinion on that?

I can’t even remember the last time I honked my horn. Unlikely I would even know if my horn stopped working.

simply braking would have worked too....but i guess genius behind the wheel wanted to get some use out of that horn he worked overtime to get.

Who knows, possibly another vehicle behind that would have rear ended if they braked .

Everytime my brain settles on an image of Phil, it's a distinguished, polite, retired engineer who never strays from the straight and narrow.

Then he goes and does something like this to remind there is a midwestern track rat hidden in there somewhere!

I put a train horn on my silver 2003 Elantra Sedan. I swear no one could see it.

That horn complete with compressor, tank, and bells caused me to get flipped off more than anything else in my life combined.

But it worked..


I have more room on the Ranger.

This is why I had to turn the sound recording off on my dash cam. When I played it back all I could hear is myself yelling at all the other dumb drivers around me. Would've been pretty comical if I ever had to use it in court. ?
