I'd be happy with a flat vinyl wrapped pad - seat and back - that mated together in a 4" sandwich vertically or flat, horizontally. I fold my Subaru Outback backseats flat all the time for all sorts of stuff. Super handy. Its not 'clever' or 'hard.' Ford just let the turd hit the punchbowl. 'Eh, whatevs' is what the CEO said, verbatim.
