Does anyone know how the avg mpg is calculated? Does it go by every so many miles or fuel used and how often is it calculated?

The computer calculates it every time you fill up. Most Rangers are off by a good 1-2 mpg from what the screen reads. You can adjust it by using the link below. It will take several full tanks to correct it so don't keep adjust it. I started at 944 and now it's close to with a tenth other two.Does anyone know how the avg mpg is calculated? What do you mean only one oil change? In 4 years and 50K, miles?I took picts of trip 1 and trip 2 I forgot LOL
trip 1 I use for temp or by the month and trip 2 I reset in Jan. if it goes down a lot fast it most likely bad gas or something about to fail, if it only loses 1 or 2 mpg a year maybe time for plugs or sensor...
I got it 2 years ago at 13k I was getting 22mpg, maybe next summer I will try plugs, at 60k I may even splurge and give her an oil change, it has only had one but it was Amsoil LOL

Yes, oneWhat do you mean only one oil change? In 4 years and 50K, miles?
Did you ingest some of that Amsoil and rotted your brain?
No sane person would go more than 10K, and smart people do it every 5K.
That Amsoil is not what you think it is, no matter what that 'snake oil' salesman told you.
