Autostop Eliminator Install

I ordered a '23 XLT this week. I was advised that auto start/stop is a constraint at the factory and is not being installed. Even got $50 of MSRP as a result.

I wonder how they disable it at the factory? On our '17 Explorer we can control this "feature" in the dash menu. I turned it off on day 1.

I wonder how they disable it at the factory?

My understanding is the chip necessary to control it is MIA. I could be wrong though.
