Greg it should still be under warranty if under 36K so if it its bring it back to the dealer and let them replace it free. If not I've always liked Interstate batteries, they never left me stranded back east in sub zero weather.
BINGO!

Took it in today.
They said the charging system and BMS was fine.
They said the battery was fine.

But they replaced the Battery any way and reset the BMS. Now it works.

Buuuuuuut - My drivers window won't auto up or down now. Da Fuuuuuuuu?
Calling them on it tomorrow unless someone here knows how to reactivate that. I went through the menus options and didn't see anything obvious.

That will always happen when the battery disconnects on any car. It's a safety feature or something. Typically you roll the window down manually and hold it down for an extra 10 seconds or so.

You might have to then roll it up and hold it in the up position for 10 seconds as well. Then auto window should work again.

In my previous life as a car manufacturer rep I had to do a battery analysis in AZ because they were replacing twice as many batteries as the rest of the US. Nothing was wrong and they finally had to accept the fact it was the heat.
But it’s a dry heat! ?

Greg, See if this helps.

GREAT!
Went out to do this just now and somenabachi the theing worked already before I did the procedure. So either I accidentally fixed it yesterday or it needed time over night or all of the computers and whiz-bangs to synch up and reset.

Either way - THANK YOU!

Glad you got the auto stop working but to answer your question on the yellow top battery.. NO not worth it.
Put a red top in the Vette and it still goes dead if I don't drive it for 2 weeks. I don't think they are as good now that Johnson Controls bought them.

I noticed an issue when production moved from Colorado to Mexico. Nothing against Mexico - but thats when the company took a lot of cost cutting and ultimately quality cutting steps. But that was what 15 years ago? Maybe 10?

I was hoping they might have built back or overcome some of those issues.

i had noticed my stop/start hadn't activated for awhile.
while doing a dump run i decided to check my screen to see why it wasn't activating while i waited in line.
keep in mind, i had just driven a half hour, loaded the truck, then drove another 5 minutes to the dump, and it told me battery was charging.
seems strange to me, now im wondering if my battery is on its way out too
Stick a volt meter on it.
I did and it came up to 10.4 volts after I had driven it longer than you did to the dump.
