Should I bust out the champagne (non-alcoholic, of course) red roses and load my amazon music account with Sinatra, perhaps Manilow?

What in the world is "ambience lighting" included on Lariats?

Is it like the clear red cellophane cool dudes in the sixties would put inside the lens of the dome light on their '57 Chevy's?

it's kinda dumb since not all the dash lights change, so you end up with some ugly clashing color combination

I agree with VAMike.

I messed around with it but you there are only a few color combos that look good together IMO.
Wound up leaving it at factory default.

I like the blue also, but have it on red right now. I think it’s kinda cool. Just something else to play around with. For a female, I’m not real matchey matchey.:turkey::sun:
Hi Tracy,

My wife is a painter and a colorist...she gets to decide colors as she is a master getting things to match or contrast... She likes the default and so it will be the default. Same with our old Escape or our current Lincoln MKX (2016)... Beats my old 1975 F Series with the "light group" which was stark white lighting that glared... Leds are wonderful!

Best,

Many Thanks to all those who responded, you'll excuse my lack of knowledge of the latest (to me) automotive technology "bling".
The feature sounds like non-sense to me, I would of much-preferred wireless cell phone charging capability instead, but it is what it is.

Speaking of bling, my brother's 2019 Ridgeline RTL-E features the in-bed speaker system, perfect for tailgate parties and such. The sound quality is nowhere near that of a concert hall, but it does work.

The feature does disable itself while driving, for obvious reasons.

My buddy got a new Ridgeline and couldn’t wait to show off the bed speaker.

You can also fit a case of your favorite adult beverage on ice under the bed.
