my wife would really like driver and passenger mirrors on the visors. we have the XL package which has no mirror. i hate the clip-on ones she put on becuase they stick out, they are ugly, and i scrape my head on the metal clips that hold them in place once in a while.

i dont mind putting a little money down for XLT visors (which i believe have mirrors with no light which would be ideal), but am wondering if they will fit our XL truck.

and im assuming i dont need to do something crazy like take down the headliner, and i can just pop a plastic cap off and unscrew something to put them in place?

Looks like a simple bolt on affair. $103 each for the XLT. Sadly, looks like they are on backorder.

Couldn't find the P/N for the right hand side... just the left?

yup its a simple process. Pop off the trim cover and 1 screw.
I actually have an XLT driver side with mirror as I replaced mine with a Lariat one with homelink.
PM me if interested.

Should be able to locate these in a junkyard by now.

True that
That is where I got my Lariat visor.

Use this LINK to search.
I have had zero luck with local junkyards, most use that database, but worth taking a trip if you have any nearby.
See what you can find and I can give you a fellow Ranger5G deal on mine.

Great link Mike. I can dress my little STX up all the parts listed.

There are a couple on eBay. I believe the Lariats will also fit and they have the garage remote. You will need to run a power wire if that’s to your liking.

I just bought two of these. Much cheaper than other options and way better quality than the cheap Amazon ones with the abrasive metal clips.

Are the remotes hard wired or perhaps a battery like the keypad?

Was there power available there or did you have to add it? I added one to a VW I had, which had lights, but no power for the opener. I had to make an adapter for the lights and run a wire down the A pillar for the opener.

I had to run a wire - I think I posted details somewhere. IIRC adding the power gave me the option to tap switched power (so the garage door opener is off). I only did driver's side. still have the stock XLT on the wifes side. Mainly did it to add garage door opener.
