Those are my “winter wheels”. Have a set with 295/70R17 BFG KM3 on Fuel Podium with -12 offset going on in a few weeks (depending on how fast Spring comes around).
Thanks! How are these installed? Any drilling or cutting required? They look awesome
I was actually referring to the fender flares, but now that you mentioned it I didn’t expect a need for cutting to fit those tires. Is this common on mid sized trucks? I come from Jeeps and don’t need to cut until the tires get pretty big. Thanks!
If you’re talking about the flares. Can’t say for sure if they needed to drill, if so would only be on inner fender to secure (???) But rest is just stick-on if I remember correctly.
Fitting those tires, with the spacers, was a whole other story though. Lots of cutting and triming for those. Posted a few pictures on my build thread.
I know right! I had a Jeep before too. With a 4.5” lift I was able to fit 37x12.5 with just bending the cab welds in the front fenders.I was actually referring to the fender flares, but now that you mentioned it I didn’t expect a need for cutting to fit those tires. I would like to find the smooth look like the f 150 raptor. My concern is the positioning light, I don't want to butcher it by cutting a slot for the light, just have to wait their bound to come out sometime.I'm curious on how they'll look, and how exactly the fitment will be around the gas door on the drivers rear. Thinking I may need flares if I go up in tire size w/ new lower offset wheels to compensate.
Anyone else had thoughts on this yet?
you can get them from ford as the smooth paintable onesI would like to find the smooth look like the f 150 raptor. My concern is the positioning light, I don't want to butcher it by cutting a slot for the light, just have to wait their bound to come out sometime.
I agree, don't see the bolted flairs on the 150 raptorDoes anyone make flares yet that are NOT the fake bolt on look? I've never understood that, and personally don't like it one bit.
