  1. The Weekend Warrior

No the crash bars had been removed at that point. The rubbing was on the honeycomb-style plastic backing of the inner fender that was at the bottom rear of the front fenders. That had to be removed even with the full 3.5 inch lift provided by the Icon system.
  2. The Weekend Warrior

This is such a choice build. I'm really digging it. Thanks!
  3. Ladder for bed rack?

There is this. Although it’s built to hook onto their platforms maybe you can “jimmy” it some how? https://www.rhinorack.com/en-ca/products/trade-work-solutions/ladders-steps/folding-ladder
  4. Roof top set-up

Constantly fiddling with my rack set-up. Here’s how that progressed: Wasn’t happy that the lowest setting for the Yakima Overhaul HD was already at cab height so traded it in for just a set of cross bars. While also adding Wildtrack bars to the roof. Then added bike racks And now ditched...
  5. The Weekend Warrior

Here I go again fiddling with my bed rack system for the 100th time!. Was keeping my Rhino-Rack platform for the roof but after many months of waiting on legs to fit the Wildtrack bars turns out I was sold a “bastard” tray that can only be mounted using Rhino-Rack’s Backbone mount and I’m not...
  6. The Weekend Warrior

You have to drill through the rivets holding down the drip rail moulding
  7. The Weekend Warrior

Hunting season is just around the corner. I’m afraid this nice 8 pointer might be a target!! ?
  8. Roof top set-up

Got a lot of questions in my build thread concerning my Wildtrack roof bars when I first put them on last year. Thought I’d post a few pics of what I ended up doing with it and sort of give my review of the stuff that’s on it. So my set-up is this: 1- Genuine (or so they said) rotw Ranger...
  9. Carrying a bicycle

Looks like that tonneau cover leaves enough space for a track system on the bed rails. I have integrated tracks on my cover and this is what that looks like:
  10. The Weekend Warrior

Finally using my Wildtrack roof bars. Just purchased a SUP and kayak and this is what that looks like: Because of the height of the truck with 3” lift and 34” tires I had to get the Thule Hullavator. Initially tried a conventional J-rack but even at 6’ tall I was unable to reach the cradle...
  11. The Weekend Warrior

Hey guys back from the dead! lol Haven’t been on here lately because over the winter we converted this... into that ... and so been doing a lot of this ... and my trusted Ranger has been along for the ride ... On this subject I have to say that I’m very pleased with the Ranger’s...
  12. The Weekend Warrior

hey Sorry for the late reply! Haven’t been in here in months. I’m lucky enough to have a somewhat fearless dealer when it comes to accessories and customizing. I believe the only drilling is to remove the factory rivets that hold the black molding in place. I dont believe there is any drilling...
  13. Who is running a negative offset?

I’m running -12et with 295/70R17 (almost a 34”) with 3” Icon lift. Needed A LOT of trimming and cutting to get them to fit.
  14. Looking for rear bumper tire carrier

I actually think it’s a different company. I’m waiting to get a URL for ordering, the member (@dangeranger) says it’ll be ready to order in December. But I might be leaning towards the Wilco Offroad hitchgate, mainly for budget reasons. The full bumper set-up with swing arms from « @dangeranger...
  15. Transporting Downhill Skis, 5' Bed

I had it installed by the dealership. From what they told me it isn’t an easy job. You need to drop the headliner, drill out the 4 rivets, cut the drip rails at the proper places to fit the bars. Very time consuming to make sure you dont damage anything that needs to go back on!
  16. Looking for rear bumper tire carrier

Thanks! That looks really interesting, I’ll look into it ... but the price, Ouch!
  17. The Weekend Warrior

Glad you guys answered for me cause I don’t do any of the mods myself. I had everything done at the dealership. Doesn’t guaranty everything will pass under warranty if something goes wrong but at least it eliminates the usual cop out of having had the truck “modified” by a third party.
  18. Transporting Downhill Skis, 5' Bed

I would suggest putting just a regular “roof-rack” on the bed like I did on mine (full disclosure I do have a railed tonneau cover but you could get rails installed directly to the bed if you don’t want to get a tonneau cover.). I only carry mountain bikes but you could fit ski racks instead and...
  19. Looking for rear bumper tire carrier

Hi! I’m turning to the community to see if I couldn’t get any good suggestions on rear bumper spare tire carriers. I’m not satisfied with my current set-up because it blocks my rear view and could be dangerous in a head-on collision (see photo below). Since my spare is mounted on a matching Fuel...
  20. The Weekend Warrior

Older pic but wanted to say I am quite pleased with having a “roof-rack” mounted on my tonneau cover. Perfect for bike racks!
