Just did mine, took all of 3 minutes. Just to be clear, I paid my student loans off decades ago.

Of course, I only have student loans because the gi bill doesn't cover out of state tuition....

education is industry. the things we do not learn is shocking to me still sometimes. but that is another topic lol. it is definitely a pay to play game. viscous cycle for college these days.
I wonder if i can get some student loans real quick blow the money and get the loan wiped by this lol. jk.
ive made it this far with no loans for school. ill keep doing the same until i cannot anymore.

Reminds me of the countless ones that start as a janitor to end up being the CEO of the company. Self taught and knows the heartbeat of the operation and can make it prosper. They don’t teach that in college

damn straight they dont... only reason im back in college is that im tired of getting passed over for promotions while they give the jobs to people with higher degrees. problem with that is the folks cant find an ass with both hands and i still end up doing my job and then the one i dont get paid for while they get the money and benefits. college is not what it was. i learned things years ago when i got my first degree. now its so watered down a monkey could get a degree if he had the money for tuition and an internet connection. not to get too soap box but in the decade ive been at my current job ive applied for promotions 5 times. never got one. however, those spots in that time frame have had 12 employees and every last one has washed out and then the brass looked at me to handle it. the most recent one they sent to me with a letter saying to train them...typical. ok rant off. soap box back under the boot box lol.

That was my thought.

But more than likely if anything they'll be contacting me when they find I have no active student loans.

Next up City of Denver.

They're starting a trial program where they take Federal dollars they received to fight homelessness and give it out to vagrants as a "basic income." I'm gonna see if I can get in on some of that.

If you did get it and got the word out maybe enough backlash could get the program axed. Maybe not though who knows. In CA that attracted homeless from all over America. $600 a month iirc.

My parents paid for school so technically I do have outstanding student loans. Hmm nowhere on the page did it say it had to be from a bank and I'll argue it's discrimination...or something. If I had to bet though I don't think either of us will ever get a phone call (or any money of course). People aren't even getting their tax refunds anymore. I personally know three, one a business owner, that are still waiting.
