I have some gas I need to rotate for the generator and was planning on putting it in the Ranger. This thing looks too small to work. Anyone have any luck using this thing?

I had the same thought as you the first time I rotated old generator gas into my MKX. I had never had a car with a capless fuel fill before that one. It worked pretty well, though I had to put a funnel in the funnel to keep from spilling. The new-ish style spouts on the red cans don't help any either. Hopefully it worked well enough that you didn't spill much! I got a little on the ground (and the paint...) the first time I used it, but not much and nothing too bad to clean up.

I have used mine for this exact purpose. Once I have transfered the gas into the truck, I leave the funnel outside for about 2 days and it is fine to reinstall, but I keep it in my swing box in the bed along with all my jack and tire tools.

When I repurpose the older mixed gas from my boat I put it in my old chevy. It will burn anything and no little filler hole.

I use it often for fuel additives..I keep it in the bed of the truck...

Plus, the ladies will thank you when the grounds muddy.

I used mine to drop in Lucas fuel cleaner once and it works.

I use this can no issues.

I use mine for putting in SeaFoam. It works great for me.
