Please read up on Colorado’s Castle Doctrine so you’re not the one facing expensive legal issues.
(1) The general assembly hereby recognizes that the citizens of Colorado have a right to expect absolute safety within their own homes.

(2) Notwithstanding the provisions of section 18-1-704, any occupant of a dwelling is justified in using any degree of physical force, including deadly physical force, against another person when that other person has made an unlawful entry into the dwelling, and when the occupant has a reasonable belief that such other person has committed a crime in the dwelling in addition to the uninvited entry, or is committing or intends to commit a crime against a person or property in addition to the uninvited entry, and when the occupant reasonably believes that such other person might use any physical force, no matter how slight, against any occupant.

(3) Any occupant of a dwelling using physical force, including deadly physical force, in accordance with the provisions of subsection (2) of this section shall be immune from criminal prosecution for the use of such force.

(4) Any occupant of a dwelling using physical force, including deadly physical force, in accordance with the provisions of subsection (2) of this section shall be immune from any civil liability for injuries or death resulting from the use of such force.

That one? Yeah, it's pretty clear. I wouldn't shoot anyone running away if that's what you're getting at. Break into my house while I'm home though, and you're done. I don't bother anyone, so people shouldn't bother me.

It is false stated that Airzona has a Castle law...We do not according to the Firearm safety class teacher of the the course that my wife took when we got her little S&W 38 Special J Frame revolver.

best,

The top camera is 2k, bottom one to watch packages is 1080p. This screen shot yesterday with a FedEx delivery shows the package 1080p camera quality well.

I thought that FedEx truck was getting ready to load up your porch with Ranger mods?

My opinion is that one good way to add protection to a security system is to do it legally with a 9mm backup.

I have had Remo video door bells for quite a few years. The have been stone reliable since installed.

I initially installed one on the back door with no issues. When I decided to put one on the front door neither one would work. Turns out the transformer that provides power for the bell inside the house didn't provide enough power to run two units. It was easily fixed with a 24 volt transformer.

The motion sensor is to sensitive is my only complaint. Even with the sensitivity turned all the way down moving shadows in the front yard will tend to trip it from time to time. Also, cars turning into the side street will trip the back door from time to time.

Optional factory Tremor Graphics. There are also red and black graphics on the hood and the side graphics continue across the tailgate. I added red tow hooks and replaced the Ford Blue oval emblems with black ones with red Ford script.

I am thinking about getting one Eufy 2c outdoor camera (and mount on the roof of my 2-story home) to connect with the doorbell. One camera will give all the coverage I need for my environment. If you've had experience with this Eufy system setup, I would appreciate any pros and cons concerning it.
I happened to stumble across this review of Eufy and there are others like it. Seems like there are some pretty serious security flaws built into the system.

I’ve used a couple of different systems, and reliability has always been a big factor for me. One thing I like about https://www.vivint.com/ is how everything connects smoothly, from cameras to door locks, all in one place. The integration with smart home devices works well, and I haven’t had any major connection issues.

Me too. I only have the eufy wired doorbell. 1st one was more reliable, it was the single camera and picked up just about everything (we like watching critters) after 18 months i mostly got the spinning wheel of death when I tried to watch a recording. When I replaced it I went with the 2 lens, I downward for packages and 1 straight out. Only catches about half of the movements even if its a opossum eating catfood so I'd have to see if one of the other cams caught it. It has the same problems as the 1 lens after 18 months it captures what it can and then about 1/3+ i can't view due to the spinning wheel of death. I have the same settings and exclusion zones on both. I've restarted it often and even did a factory reboot.

I will say this about Eufy, a l little less money than a Ring camera and no monthly fee and no remote access for them to spy on you. This time I bought a wired in Reolink doorbell, again no monthly fee and less cost than a Eufy. When I started adding on cams and backup cams I decided to not have all my eggs in 1 basket and branched out to several brands and cameras. I will say avoid the Laview cams. I bought the cheap ones, 2 screw in bulb tracking cameras, 2 mounted tracking cameras and a stationary. Only 1 still works and most of the time it's turned itself into a corner and sits. I bought some of them on Amazon and some at Menards. Cheap, lousy software and awful tech support.
