Anyone added additional headliner sound deadener?

Two that I found.

If you have the time and space to have the truck apart for a bit, I highly recommend it.

I will once I start in on my stereo upgrade for the Ranger, but that may be a bit til I find a real garage that holds more than I have now.

Driving through an afternoon Florida thunderstorm makes carrying on a conversation or listening to music next to impossible.I've had way too many vehicles in my life but I can honestly say the noise from the roof in these trucks is beyond intense and borders on scary

Aren't there airbags in the headliner? Ie it shouldn't be just taken down as though it were any trip.
Or am I mistaken?

When I got to Ubon 555th was one of our squadrons and they deployed to Udorn in '68

Heavy rain+'21 ranger+hearing aids leads to pretty much being deafened after 30 seconds as each raindrop sounds like a kitchen pot being drummed with a hammer.

took the 5g to the beaver hut carwash saturday. the air dry part literally made the headliner visibly shake. my sunglasses rattled around in the holder etc... it did not inspire trust in the roofs strength.

Both my '19 and my '21 do that. Doesn't take much downward air dryer pressure to make the roof flex and pop, unfortunately.
