Mine just has a standard warning message if something triggers the antitheft on the info screen. Telling you to turn the truck on to calm it down.

How to see that? Lock it from inside with the fob then open the door.

I had the blinking light on my Explorer when security was set, dont see it on the Ranger?

I think the anti-theft is an option. I don't recall ever seeing a flashing red light on my dash. Not on my 2014 Edge either but the 2010 Fusion had that so I know what your looking for.

Don't see it on my 2021 Ranger. I just Googled, and it says the Ranger has a "perimeter anti-theft system". If you open doors or tailgate with out key, keypad or remote, alarm will be triggered. Doesn't mention specifically, but other search results for Fords included the hood as well.

If you get the additional Perimeter Plus system with shock sensor you can also get a flashing LED to mount on the dash. Doesn't come stock.
