This thread was that wastebasket to start with, but it does make us all feel better you cared enough, to take the time, to do that.

You did remember to face northeast when you did it right?

Agreed!!! I use the software version. The physical buttons are useless and even unsafe while driving.

I completely agree about the unsafe part. I have to take my eyes off the road too long to find it. I need to start using the software version more but it's just more button pushing. I'm usually in apples carplay.

I really don't understand why Ford didn't put in a tiered counsel, every Ford I have had has had a tiered counsel, you know that place to but your loose change, pens, small note pad etc.
Something else while I think of it, it sure would be nice if the center counsel arm rest could slide forward about 2 inches for added comfort.

Same here. I have had several Korean cars that outlived that and their auto trans are doooodooo..

Storage, compared to my old Sport Trac that had three storage compartments in the floor of the bed. I have a plastic storage tote in the front of the bed, drilled two 1” holes in it to run a tie down attached to the front bed hooks.
Small plastic drawer on the rear passenger side floor with small tools. Duluth Trading Mobile Desk on the rear passenger seat. I have a Supercab, unlikely anyone will sit in the rear.

Other:
Vibration that won’t go away. Seems worse with the new tires, maybe they just won’t balance right. Or could be rear shocks or driveshaft. Wheels been balanced multiple times.

Par for the course with a Ford automatic. I come from the Sport Trac world where the transmissions are on borrowed time after 100,000 miles.

only thing i dont care for are the buttons on the side of the shifter you use to manually change gears. paddle shifters or moving the shifter handle would have been more useful and less awkward.

Have said before but will say again...

Wish that the Ranger hadn't come with the Auto Start-Stop feature. Cured this by installing an Auto-Stop Eliminator which defaults to the last setting either on or off. Someone mentioned in a post that in either the 21 or 22 models this feature would be an optional purchase...good move Ford!

Ford should have equipped Ranger's with a DeeZee Damper and a video on therapy solutions for muscle atrophy

Should have added Terrain Management while you had it open, Simple swap of switch and enable it via Forscan! I added the ASS eliminator myself very early on.
