Did anything annoy you about your Ranger (not talking mechanical faults) and how did you solve it?

Mine - storage for little stuff. I keep a basic set of tools to help others (or myself with my older car) etc and the under seat area is a joke. Especially coming from a hatchback where I could just toss it there but also had a bunch of storage options.

The fix, Swing case. Didn't want to lose any more bed length to a toolbox and I just needed one of them. Perfect size for all the random crap.

Why the post? Looking for what to do to it and how to make it a nicer daily driver in general.

Currently up next: Struts/shocks and remove some of the rake with them.

On a serious note, it should've came with OEM tail gate damper, engine cover and LED headlamps should be an ala cart item...

Stock headlights suck in 2022. Easy enough fix.
I don't think the stockers are that bad. Maybe because I sat on the ground in a hatch for 7 years.

That said.. I have a full set of LED replacement bulbs for high/low/fogs in my Amazon cart... Just haven't pulled the trigger on that yet.

Even if not too bad IMO, could be better.

Other than LED bulb replacement...after market LED lamps are not so easy on the wallet or install...

The stupid little dust covers for the 12v hole. Doesn’t take much for them to flip open driving on road. Anything off-road forget about it. They will pop open and stay open.

A.S.S. resets to automatically enable on vehicle start up. This is a problem/feature with all makes and models. But why can’t it be to remember last setting and resume to same position on restart.

I had the same issue, so I installed the Decked system. Lots of storage but as always, not enough for the back country camping we do. Definitely hold all my tools though, and a lot more!

Agreed on the abysmal use of interior storage. Installed builtright molle panels for the back which helped a lot. Small annoyance that's ongoing is the B&O sound system is too good for the build quality. Everything rattles if the bass hits just the right tone. Once off lease I'll likely throw in some better door sound deadening.

The Auto Start/Stop Eliminator does exactly that. I have one in the Ranger and my wife's 21 Jeep. It remembers the last setting on restart.
