When I tagged a deer, the deer won........?
Same here I had a Mule deer jump out of nowhere and it connected with passenger front fender passenger door and rear of the box .? I still haven’t made a claim on it.

Dang. Mine ended up being $11K to repair. Luckily, I only had to pay the deductible.

Ouch yeah it’s time to make a claim, I was waiting to get my 07 FX4 unblocked and it’s available to use while the 22 is in the shop.

Could've been worse. I hit a turkey the second week I owned it. Had not gotten a bug deflector yet and it creased the leading edge of my hood. Paintless dent guy fixed it no problem.
Lots of dead deer on the sides of the roads where I live and since it got warm they're getting stinky.

Not a ranger but a Ford. A couple of years ago I went deer hunting with my 2009 Escape, unfortunately it was good for only one deer and was totaled by the insurance company. Scared the anti freeze right out of it! o_O

So far two feral hogs have been perfectly mowed over by my stock tremor front bash plate. I can't even find where they were hit. I do a lot of hunting and I'm sure they won't be the last ones.

we had a deer suicide on the front bumper of our 2015 escape in 2017 I think it was. It crossed in front changed its mind then changed its mind again and came back and hit right in the middle of the front. 13k in damage by the time they were done.

Worst thing for the ranger is that is was not even a week old and got a crack in the windshield

No pics but my most recent kills have been pheasants.

There's a bird hunting sanctuary I pass by on my way to work. My old FiST ate 'em up. Crest the hill and the damn birds would be standing in the middle of the road. Decimated the poor little things. Both times I looked for vittles bit could only find ?.

Worst the FiST ever suffered was a cracked lower valence.

Upon closer inspection, I found a light scuff mark on my left front flare...I'm guessing that the first contact from the poor guy's nose...I may have lightened it's impact while I was turn away to the right...so front flare contact and it's momentum carry it to second contact with the rear tire...I drove by the area today and didn't find any dead bambi so hoping it survived the encounter...

Sid, happy for ya it wasn't any worse than that! This reminds me of Larry the Cable Guy......Sometimes ya gotta hit the deer with the pickup.......to get the insurance check.......to get the deer processed!

You've been paying for that repair for years before, and trust me, increased premiums will pay for that repair for years to come.

I was walking my dog in my neighborhood the other day, and 200 yards or so ahead, saw a deer leap over a 6' wrought iron fence, catch somethign, land on its side.

It then got up, jumped back over. When i got to the fence I saw the same fur/hair rub.

I'm not sure if it's real, or just imagined, but i feel like I can really smell wild deer a lot better these last few years from hunting vs before.

they can travel 1/2 a mile before keeling over. Trust me, i've tracked them with less than ideal arrow placement. Who knows though.
