Android Auto or sync messed up

normally when I plug my phone in my podcasts come up or my map, I use them every day, I went to the store around midnight and a Bright Red Message show up on my phone, it dont like my radio any more for security reason! WTF why do they mess with shit till it breaks....
I wish they would focus on the damn transmission problems and stop messing with stuff that probably dont effect any of us

This is most likely caused by a software update to your phone, not the truck.

1 Reboot phone
2 uninstall & reinstall Android Auto

And this is why I don't like Android Auto and Apple Car Play. Way to many silly issues for no reason from a clunky system.

The message I got on my phone with last AA update notification basically said that, AA would not continue to work unless the update is installed.

it was late last night when that popped up so I didnt want to think about it or trouble shoot it to hard LOL
I have in the past gotten a message this device is not compatible or wrong cable used, but if I re-plug it right back in it just works, I had a hope this was the case and it was just something dumb I was missing
I will retry AA first and it was a bug in the last release maybe they will fix it fast enough ....
